Aidan B
I'm heading down to California's Desert traps over the weekend, where most of my time visiting the various desert traps, as well as a little time in the Mojave targeting some of the state birds that I need. My big targets this trip are Crissal Thrasher, Bendire's Thrasher, Black-chinned Sparrow, Gray Vireo in the Mojave, plus whatever the traps have to offer, including Bell's Vireo and Brown-crested Flycatcher. I'm also really hoping to get a Gilded Flicker as well, but Cima Road is closed and they are super difficult outside of that one road, plus there is a crazy number of hybrid flickers in the area. Hoping it will be a good trip! California Desert Traps/Mojave, May 26th-29th - eBird Trip Report
