Mark5
I have a several more of these recordings. Birdnet giving me exotic species and a small possibility of American Goldfinch. https://soundcloud.com/user-850401241/sets/unknown-bird-song?si=bbb267d169d3424f93b0b9b34b997c2a&utm_source=clipboard&utm_medium=text&utm_campaign=social_sharing
Mark5
Listening to different songs. Maybe Orange-Crowned Warbler?

Quiscalus quiscula
Too complex for Chipping Sparrow, and the quality sounds wrong to me. I can't quite place it though.

They have a surprising repertoire of trills. Of the other trillers, DEJU is much more complex and higher pitched to me, Eastern Palm is super dry, PIWA is low and sweet. Plus it’s in a cemetery.

I agree, but I'm hearing a two part trill and then several notes going upwards.

Can you give me a time where it occurs in either recording? The loudest song on both to me is just a single trill.

I'm a little confused about how soundcloud works, but after the first one or two seconds? I'm hearing a trill, lower note, and three rising notes from the frequency of the lower note. I think you might be hearing a combination of songs from the “CHSP” , Song, Blackbird, and whatever the whistler is (too low for Titmouse, maybe BAOR). I’m having trouble hearing any rising high frequencies.

Mark5
birdnet_mobile_2340026484_recording_6191.wav birdnet_mobile_2340026484_recording_6195.wav birdnet_mobile_2340026484_recording_6193.wav These are the songs I was asking about. I am sorry about soundcloud confusion, I had trouble inserting sounds on the site a while ago and started using soundcloud. If these are all Chipping Sparrow that would be surprising to me, but live and learn.

That’s why I couldn’t hear what @Quiscalus quiscula was hearing! These new files are not CHSP. Maybe Eastern Towhee?
