Long awaited but I work two full time jobs so having the time to sit outdoors with my camera by the feeder is rare. I am glad too it has been bugging me for a while now and I was amazed that no one ever seemed to guess this bird when I mentioned the spots/scales. I guess it is not that common? They are not native to Florida and are an established exotic(as many other species in Florida). Yes they usually do travel in small flocks, but not always. Finally...
