sbruenjes
I saw these birds yesterday at the Edwin Forsythe Wildlife refuge in Galloway, NJ. I know I have some dowitchers, but I'm not sure what else I see here.. maybe stilt sandpipers? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You're only noticing the light base of the bill. The bill darkens on/in the distal half or portion. Edited July 23 by Peromyscus 2

Definitely not a Pectoral, as mentioned the bill is way too long - clear when I zoom in on my phone.
