Yeah, Amazon's pricing algorithms are silly on some things like that. I don't know what would happen if you contacted the seller and offered a reasonable price. I got a copy on eBay for $59.99 about two years ago.
Aidan B
This has been an amazing experience. Let me be the first to congratulate @Skipickos on this amazing find! I dream of finding something like this, but I don't think I ever will! Rare birds really can show up anywhere and at any time. That is part of why I love birding so much. And again, Congrats @Skipickos! This is the find of a lifetime!

Skipickos
Another big thank you in shout out to @AlexHenry - pushing me to get the sighting out to everyone and IDing the bird in the first place. And to this awesome community! Doesn’t get better than this group!! Cheers!
Aidan B
Bird apparently does have white on the secondaries! No doubt left at all, it's a Gray Gull!!! macaulaylibrary.org/asset/608455363 Edited September 4 by Aidan B

That way you can skip over the avocet sighting 😇
Jerry Friedman
Congratulations on an astonishing find, @Skipickos! And I second @DLecy's suggestion to give @AlexHenry credit on the eBird details, where people will see it. 5

I see no other hurricanes this year that would have pushed/assisted it. Don’t suppose anyone is in that FB group.
