In Pennsylvania, that's a Ruby-throated. Either a juvenile or a female -- adult males have dark throats that flash red when the light hits them right. Anywhere east of the Mississippi, it's safe to assume that a hummer is a Ruby-throated unless it looks really odd. (That gets less true by October, though -- that's when western vagrants sometimes show up, and there's a lot fewer Ruby-throated by then.)
