He had been grooming his replacement since 2020 or so, although they'd worked together for years before that. Looks like we -MAY- get some Purples and Siskins down this way. Or not. Obit says August 7, 2023. I know he retired 2-3 years ago. Birding Boy Posted September 25 Share Posted September 25 Last winter was weird in Michigan's Keweenaw peninsula. Completely devoid of Redpolls and Crossbills.
