dragon49
A Tennessee Warbler would also have that black line through the eye, but isn't that face coloring distinctive to the Orange-crowned? Taken this morning in Boynton beach, Florida:
Avery
It’s a Tennessee. Orange-crowned have yellow undertail coverts, like a Palm Warbler, while Tennessees have white (which your photo shows). Hope that helps! As for the face, depending on the age/time of year, Tennessees are highly variable. They can be very greenish-yellow overall.
