True, but Dunlins from what I know prefer almost strictly saltwater, not freshwater. Maybe it’s different in the east.

We get flocks of Dunlin numbering in the 1000s here in the Central Valley. I've seen far more Dunlin in freshwater than saltwater. Maybe the Saltwater thing is SoCal only?

Hi, everybody.  Just got back to this post.  This field is only abour 12 miles from the nearest saltwater shoreline.  I also looked and Dunlin are seen at this site.
