psweet Posted July 14, 2018 Share Posted July 14, 2018 SY Red-tail. You can see the strong dark trailing edge on the new, inner primaries contrasting with the weaker edge on the older secondaries. Ferruginous never develop such a strong trailing edge and the outer primaries only have small dark tips.
