Paul Contreras
Saw this bird fly over while squawking loudly over the parking lot at beach resort in Tenacatita Jalisco called Los Angeles Locos Edited January 27, 2019 by Paul Contreras
aveschapinas
Giss plus squawking loudly over a beach resort makes me think some kind of Kingfisher. 1

I was thinking that too ☺️ My lense kept on readjusting the focus.
aveschapinas
You could look up kingfishers in the area and listen to their calls to see if you recognize one. 1

aveschapinas
That makes sense. They do sqawk when flying, and the color patterns (or at least the dark/light pattern) looks good too. Ringed is a big kingfisher, so if you remember the size that could also be an indicator.
