Cannot figure out what this is, hard to make out the colors but I believe I see a blue-ish bill, with a dark spot at the end? Spotted in Seattle, Washington. Thanks! I'm not good with a less common species, the eurasian wigeon, so I'd say this is likely an American wigeon. Tony Leukering Posted February 11, 2019 Share Posted February 11, 2019 Note the longish, pointed tail; white hip patch; and black back end -- which gets one to either American Wigeon or Eurasian Wigeon, then the white crown stripe rules out the latter.
