Those aren't ray-like clouds but "crepuscular rays", shadows of some distant clouds or mountains.  You can see the shadows where they fall on the closer clouds.  I agree with "awesome", though. :classic_smile:

Speaking of sunsets... Grasslands National Park, Saskatchewan on August 30.  I suppose this could go under "critters" as well.

Unfortunately on the Gulf Coast, we lack a few things like mountains.  But from time to time we get decent views.  Sunrise from Padre Island Tx.
