Which Thrasher?

Recommended Posts

I can't make out the beak on this Thrasher.  I'm thinking it's a Brown but maybe there are other marks to determine if it's a Curve-Billed.

Seen in Brownsville, TX.

Seconded. The streaks below are nice and distinct, and there's a spotted wingbar visible. Brown Thrasher doesn't occur that far south in the summer.

I remember thinking when I saw this bird that the vocalization sounded just like a busy Brown Thrasher, imitating other birds.  I'm glad I checked here, thanks!
