Toronto BlueJay
Hello I saw 2 birds twice this week in the same tree. Are you able to tell from this photo if they are crows or ravens? I just assumed crows and didn't really pay much attention then someone said the tail looked like they may be ravens. Today, Toronto. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10155991695700009&type=1&l=d66646a588 Thanks in advance Edited March 2, 2019 by Toronto BlueJay
The Bird Nuts
Looks like a crow to me. The tail does have slightly shorter outer feathers, but I don't think that is abnormal for a crow.

And the bill doesn't look big enough for a Raven. 1

mpfuchs
I usually say: if you're not sure, it's most likely a crow. When you do see a raven, you'll know immediately.
