Northwest Arkansas bird from August 2015. Back then I listed it as an accipiter. Lousy photos here BUT... compared to the body, the head looks SMALL to me. Is that good enough to call it a sharp-shinned???

I'm leaning towards Sharp-shinned as well based on the apparent dark nape, bit I think this one is best left unidentified.

No worries. I submitted to eBird a few years back as accipiter sp and it can remain that way. I just stumbled across it today and thought since I have the pictures it wouldn't hurt to try and actually ID it.
But don't worry... as I SLOWLY go through all my old checklists, I'll have a LOT more ID requests to keep everyone busy. 🙂
