Ravens? Texas 78070

Thanks for the help.  The Cornell Lab allaboutbirds.org website describes the species thus, "Not just large but massive, with a thick neck, shaggy throat feathers, and a Bowie knife of a beak."  These birds were definitely larger than a crow, which is the size represented by the Chihuahuan raven.  I thought they might be black vultures until I enlarged the image and found a more raven-like shape.  I also heard them vocalize and that evidence corresponds to recordings on the Cornell and Audubon websites.
