I managed 45 species at a local lake today which included 5 goslings. Seemed early for that. They had to have laid their eggs in February I'd think. 45 species and somehow this was the most exciting. ? Full report >>HERE<< in case anyone is interested. Might add photos at some point but not tonight. The Canadian Geese hatched here on southern Vancouver Island late April and early May last year. birdbrain22 Posted March 30, 2019 Share Posted March 30, 2019 Incubation for Canada Geese is 24-29 days... so probably very late Feb laying, which down in Arkansas is probably right especially if weather was mild(maybe just a tad early).
