Nighthawk01
All three were seen on June 23, 2018, forty miles west of St. Louis, Missouri (near Wentzville). For the first five, I'm thinking Eastern Wood-Pewee. The second bird (sixth picture) looks like a flycatcher, but I'm not sure. The last bird (final two images) looks more like a thrush than the Brown Thrasher I was seeing in the area.
JimBob
1: Eastern Wood-Pewee 2: Great Crested Flycatcher 3-6: Eastern Wood-Pewee 7-8: Honestly, I don't think this is identifiable. Wood Thrush is my best suggestion but I can't say for sure
Nighthawk01
Looking closer, I think the last bird is a Wood Thrush. The obvious dark spots and more of a chestnut brown color rule out all other local thrushes, and the black eye eliminates Brown Thrasher (which has a yellow eye). The Bird Nuts
The wingbars on the last bird eliminates Wood Thrush. It's a juvenile Brown Thrasher (which have dark eyes).
Nighthawk01
Ah, I see. Dang, Wood Thrush would’ve been a lifer. Oh well. Off to change an eBird submission.
