Missouri Birds. Help Please!

Recommended Posts

All three were seen on June 23, 2018, forty miles west of St. Louis, Missouri (near Wentzville). For the first five, I'm thinking Eastern Wood-Pewee. The second bird (sixth picture) looks like a flycatcher, but I'm not sure. The last bird (final two images) looks more like a thrush than the Brown Thrasher I was seeing in the area.

1: Eastern Wood-Pewee

2: Great Crested Flycatcher

3-6: Eastern Wood-Pewee

7-8: Honestly, I don't think this is identifiable. Wood Thrush is my best suggestion but I can't say for sure

Looking closer, I think the last bird is a Wood Thrush. The obvious dark spots and more of a chestnut brown color rule out all other local thrushes, and the black eye eliminates Brown Thrasher (which has a yellow eye).
