DaveOl
I just put up my nectar feeder and am wondering when the hummingbirds come back. I live in Eastern Tn on the Cumberland plateau at about 2,000 feet above sea level. I saw an Eastern Bluebird and a beautiful red house finch already today. Charlie Spencer
You should have them by now. Give them a couple of days to find the feeder, esp. if it's a new one in a location where there hasn't been a feeder before. If you don't get any in three or four days, change the sugar water and be patient. If it's in a new location, it may help to tie a couple red ribbons or streamers on nearby branches. FYI, there's an existing discussion of this topic.
