This looks like a Humpback bluebird to me. :classic_laugh:  Or possibly a short tailed bluebird.  :classic_laugh:

Eastern Bluebird?

Yep, Eastern Bluebird (they sometimes winter over in the northeast, or at least return early).

Yes, this one does look a bit funny :).  But then again I have never seen one with my own eyes, so I am definitely excited about it. I'm just worried about all the snow we received.  I hope it will find enough food.  I heard they can sometimes come to a bird feeder so I hope it finds mine.

Thank you everyone, for the identification!

They come to my suet feeders daily.  The overall drabness of this one makes me think it's a female, but that could be due to the lighting.

I hope it comes by to my feeder.  I put out some meal worms.  We received a lot of snow. I hope it will mostly melt today.

I see that bluebirds have such a variety in the way they look. but i guess they vary a great deal regionally and seasonally.

Thank you!
