hbvol50
today south of Nashville TN. Unfortunately I don't have a recording but it's easy to describe. It sounded like a wood thrush but without the "bzzz" at the end. A very musical call. The habitat was a small open field bordered by riparian woods. I know it's next to impossible to ID without a recording but any thoughts on what species calls I should listen to to get a hint? I tried most of the other thrushes as well as orioles and tanagers. egosnell2002
Not sure, maybe listen to Hermit Thrush again? The way I describe their call to other people is literally "like a wood thrush but without the 'bzzz' at the end"
