Drewesque
Having a hard time pegging this one. I have a feeling it is going to end up being an Eastern Phoebe, but it doesn't look right to me. Taken yesterday in East Texas (Tyler).
kms15
Looks like an eastern phoebe to me, but throwing it out there, acadian flycatcher? (bill seems too dark for the flycatcher and no visible eyeing, but since you thought it looked weird for the Phoebe, just giving an alternative). millipede
I'm not expert on these... and I'd prefer to hear the bird and watch the behavior... with a phoebe bobbing its tail a bit. This might not be a good ID point but I feel like I see more phoebes on fences and most of the flycatchers(at least the ones I've seen) confined more to vegetation. Seems a little light or something off but, mostly looks good for a phoebe to me. Wait for others to chime in though.
