jdrjmc67 0 Posted May 10 I had 2 birds calling mid-canopy to each other. The call was a high pitched, single note "seep" similar to a cedar waxwing only slower if that makes any sense. One or both would be calling, often alternating and usually with a pause of at least 10 seconds or more between calls. I made a video to record the calls but not sure if I can upload it here. There is an excellent migration going on here and many warblers in the area. These birds have been here for at least 3 or 4 days. I did see a pair of black and white warblers in the area but have not been able to find anything that says they make call like this.
