Hornseeker Posted June 3, 2019 Share Posted June 3, 2019 This buteo was seen in the northern Bighorn basin, near Lovell, WY. I didn’t get a good look and snapped these horrible photos. But the initial look I did get Made me gasp at a potential rarity. RTHA or SWHA is only normal buteos in the area. My initial view I saw black and rusty red. Photo shows white undertail, and in flight photo clearly some deep reddish colors... any chance it’s a Harris?? Thanks for any help. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
