I'm not sure of this bird's ID.  Taken a couple weeks ago in MN :

This looks like an Olive-sided Flycatcher. This species is very distinctive as it looks like it is wearing a vest (dark gray sides contrast with the white in the center). Other tips include that it often has a rear-peaked head and perches upright on top of dead branches and trees.

I agree, definitely an Olive-sided.  Other things to look for are the short tail, large head and beak, almost nonexistent wingbars and eyerings, white throat, and the streaks in the "vest".
