Spring Storm Mystery Posted June 15, 2019 Share Posted June 15, 2019 To me, the white by the beak that reaches toward the eye belongs to the Willow flycatcher. If he's still around, you should listen to the vocalizations, as neither of them sound anything alike. Download Merlin ID or the Audubon apps onto your phone and familiarize yourself with the calls. Also apparently the Alder Flycatcher is similar to the Willow but I feel like your tail matches the Willow (and the Pewee, too). Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
