When I mow my fields, I'm apparently stirring up enough insects to attract a glossy blue bird with a silver breast/underside.  They circle around and swoop down on all sides of me.  At first, I thought they were dive-bombing me to keep me away from nests, but then it occurred to me that they might be after insects.  I've checked the mid-Atlantic North America birder books, but cannon find one fitting that description.  The purple martin is the closest, although it seems to be dark purple/blue all over.  This one definitely has a white/silvery underbelly.  I'm sorry to have no photo; they're too fast for me to even bother trying to catch one on film.

Thanks for your help.
