They have spotting on their backs and chest and a small amount of blue in their wings and tail. You can also notice its yellow gape and white eyering. akandula Posted July 16, 2019 Share Posted July 16, 2019 Hermit Thrush juveniles would be darker overall, have black spots on their breast, and have tan spots on their back. Adult Hermit Thrushes do not have spotting on the back.
