Help ID Hawk from terrible photo

Recommended Posts

I took this awful picture today in Laurel, MD.  A friend with binoculars thought this might be a Broadwing Hawk.  Is it possible to identify this bird from this picture?  It seems a little early for a Broadwing but it has been a strange birding season for me.

This is a Red-shouldered Hawk with the transparent crescents near the wingtips, five "wing fingers", orangey underwing coverts, and thinner black and white tail bands.  Appears to be a younger one due to the even tail bands, the brown streaks on the breast, and the lack of a dark trailing edge to the wings.
