Sorry for no photo...

2 Flocks of about 8 birds in each that joined together both in V-formation. Flying about 85-95 feet high. Size of gull, somewhat resembled gull. all had whitish primaries and secondaries and brownish underwing coverts.

Extremely loud flight call reminiscent of elegant tern, but slightly less raspy.
