Interesting bird.

This is actually a Northern Mockingbird with a bill deformity. Note the gray upperparts, whitish underparts, long tail, white wingbars, and pale eye.

Thrashers would either be browner/grayer, have speckles/streaks on the underside, and/or have a rufous rump (don't mix up juvenile mockingbirds with thrashers, though). Also, thrashers have a simple downcurved bill, not a bill that is in a "crossbill" shape.
