Forsythe NWR NJ Birds?

Recommended Posts

  1. Great Crested Flycatcher - note the large size, large head, rusty primaries and tail feathers, bright yellow belly, and brown upperparts with white-edged feathers.
  2. Eastern Kingbird - note the upright posture, white-tipped square tail, blackish above (darker on the head) with white-edged feathers, and white underparts.
  3. Hooded Merganser, probably a juvenile. Note the small size, slender, long, straight beak with a orange base, and brown overall.
