redcoot Posted August 3, 2018 Share Posted August 3, 2018 This parrot was seen at the Kaloko-Honokōhau National Historic Park on 7/29/18, on the island of Hawaii. I am not too familiar with it, and I have no idea if it is a red-masked parakeet or mitred parrot. It was in a flock with a few others, and they sounded similar to Red-crowned Parrots (which I am familiar with) but with much more higher-pitched voices. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!
