Rose Pullen
I need a little help in identifying this bird please. I took this picture in my backyard which is at the edge of a park in San Antonio, Texas. It was waiting to drink water along with a northern cardinal. It was September, mid morning. Kevin
Welcome to Whatbird! I think this is a Baltimore Oriole. But wait for the experts. https://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/Baltimore_Oriole/id
akiley
Why not Bullock's?
Phalarope713
I agree with Baltimore here. A female Bullock's would not have such rich orange plumage on the underparts, and would sport a whitish-gray belly.
