Catbob
Is this a Sanderling? Taken yesterday along the Florida gulf coast. P9040066 by James J, on Flickr
Charlie Spencer
I think it's too brown and not gray enough for a Sanderling. The breast streaking and that droopy foot has me thinking a Semipalmated Sandpiper, but definitely wait for a more informed opinion. akiley
It's a Sanderling. Grayish back, and unstreaked breast, chunkier bird. Edited September 5, 2019 by akiley
Charlie Spencer
Okay, what would you call the streaked part of this bird? The neck? Thanks.

Semipalm and other peeps should show defined streaking.
