akandula Posted September 7, 2019 Share Posted September 7, 2019 Female/immature Gray Wagtail - note the gray head and back, white eyebrow, and bright yellow belly and vent. Breeding males have a black throat and mostly yellow underparts. Breeding females have some dark on the throat and paler yellow underparts. Nonbreeding females and immatures have a white throat and underparts except for the yellow wash on the belly and vent. Another juvenile Eurasian Blackbird Another Song Thrush Eurasian Wren - note the tiny size, brown overall, and cocked tail. Male Greater Whitethroat - note the brownish overall, bright rusty wings, gray head, narrow whitish eyering, and white throat. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
