Manchester, England part 4

Recommended Posts

  1. Female/immature Gray Wagtail - note the gray head and back, white eyebrow, and bright yellow belly and vent. Breeding males have a black throat and mostly yellow underparts. Breeding females have some dark on the throat and paler yellow underparts. Nonbreeding females and immatures have a white throat and underparts except for the yellow wash on the belly and vent.
  2. Another juvenile Eurasian Blackbird 
  3. Another Song Thrush
  4. Eurasian Wren - note the tiny size, brown overall, and cocked tail.
  5. Male Greater Whitethroat - note the brownish overall, bright rusty wings, gray head, narrow whitish eyering, and white throat.

Thanks for the help on these four groups of birds.

This was my first birding experience in England.

Looks like I had several of them correctly IDed.
