akandula
Fabulous photos! White-bellied Woodstar (Chaetocercus mulsant) Males are mostly green above, have a bright white chest and belly, dark green sides, purple throat, and forked tail. Females have a white throat, white eyeline, and rich buffy flanks. To differentiate other woodstars from this species, note the extensive white belly. and 3. Buff-tailed Coronet (Boissonneaua flavescens) Sexes similar. Note the mostly dark green with obvious buffy underwing and mostly buffy tail. Fairly short, straight bill.
