Can't figure this one out

To me this might be a pine siskin if it wasn't for the yellow bill......please help!!  Saw it in Los Alamos, NM (about 7300 feet) on August 24.

Yes, this is a Pine Siskin. Note the small size and heavily streaked, brown overall. Also, note the small amount of yellow on the wings and the tail and the sharp, pointed bill (which is normally pale pink). To differentiate it from sparrows and other finches, note the usually thinner bill, yellow tones on the wings, and heavily streaked overall.

I think you have it.  The orangey-yellowish color appears to be on an object in the bill, not the color of the bill itself.
