How is that even possible?? Yeah well I typically don't see tons of any crossbills haha, but I've just been in a good place for 'em this last week in what appears to be an irruption year. Last winter I wasn't able to see any Reds when they irrupted in huge numbers (No car), and this fall they've been sitting tight in the boreal forest because they still have tons of food up there.
