SW Hummingbirds Round 2

Recommended Posts

1. and 2. Female/immature Rufous Hummingbirds - note the rusty flanks and rufous patches on the rump/tail.

3. Blue-throated Mountain-gem - note the blue gorget, white stripes on face, and white tail spots.

4. and 7. Rivoli's Hummingbirds - note the large size, green above, gray and green speckled below, and white streak behind the eye.

5. Broad-tailed Hummingbird - note the magenta throat, white breast, and green/buff flanks. Anna's Hummingbird in the back.

6. and 8-9. Anna's Hummingbirds - females have a red central throat patch and males have pink crowns and throat.
