dvoribird
This must be a Rufous (unusual here). He stayed with me for three days before moving on (Oct 19-21). I get Black-chinned for summer, and after they leave, the Ruby-throateds migrate through. But this doesn't look like either, and I'm a too far north for Buff-bellied. akiley
Adult male Rufous. Nice bird. You can tell by the orange back. No other age/sex selasphorus combo is field identifiable without spread tail pics. Edited October 25, 2019 by akiley
