slidinghills
Thrush (Hermit?) was seen along trail in the Rocky Mountains (SW Alberta). Butterfly was seen higher up in the mountains along a talus slope. Both seen today. Edited August 8, 2018 by slidinghills
psweet
The thrush is very young -- ID'ing them at this stage is tough, but the buff tones to the eye-ring hint at Swainson's. The butterfly is a Phoebus Parnassian -- very nice!
