CherylStewart
I saw this hawk near Bahia de Kino, Sonora, Mexico, about 1/4 mile from the Sea of Cortez on this fresh water catchment, 11/14/19. The gull is a yellow-footed. I first saw it flying and said acipitor. Then I saw it here and said, well maybe Swainson. Then looked to its right about 30 feet and saw the hawk below and said I give up. I am assuming they are the same species??? Both are the same size. Thank you and sorry about the quality of the pics. blackburnian
To clarify, both are Peregrines. I made it sound as if there was only one.
