RustyE
Hello all, long time since I've been here. Yesterday my wife pointed out a small bird on one of the blocks. I got a grainy picture of it, an my best guess isĀ Orange-crowned Warbler. Or is this something else. My first thought was Yellow-rumped, but there is just not enough pointing to that. Thanks for you advise. RustyE IMG_6622 by Roger Kiefer, on Flickr
RustyE
I forgot to add, it seemed olive green in color.
RustyE
OK, I can't figure out how to edit my post and forgot the location. North East Texas. Kaufman County.
Melierax
Do you have any more photos? I was thinking maybe Tennessee since the undertail looks quite pale, but that could be due to the lighting.Ā

RustyE
NO, I don't. It was a quick pick up the camera and shoot. It was all over the place. I had a really blurry shot, but trust me, it would not help.
The Bird Nuts
Looks good for an Orange-crowned to me.
akandula
Definitely Orange-crowned. Tennessee Warblers would have a bolder facial pattern.
Melierax
Okay,Ā that's what I thought but the undertail looked light toĀ me.Ā
