Nursermk
This little guy flew into my friend's house, she caught him then set him free. Perhaps a wood warbler or similar?

Nursermk
Is that right? The ones I see usually I thought have less black on their face. I have a Ruby crowned who hangs around I guess I was thinking of him instead?! Thank you kindly I will let her know what treasure she found! Ruby-crowned don't have any black on the top of their heads so, yes, that's probably what you were thinking of.

Nursermk
Thank you! Am excited to be here amongst fellow birders. Amazing what a few miles can make between what I see at my feeders and on my rural property and what my friend sees on her property just a few miles north. She has a denser wooded area whereas my property is mixed wooded and pastures with a creek running through so I get a nice mix of this and that...
