Connor Cochrane
After checking out the continuing rarities up in humbolt, I checked out a few places, and eventually I drove past a field tons of killdeer, and mixed in there was a Pacific Golden-Plover at one of them, which is a pretty good bird for this time of year.

Birding Boy
Northern Wheatear in Upper Sandusky, Ohio. Obviously a lifer, and worth the drive! Seemed to be doing well despite the cold, and it appeared to be eating mealworms someone had put out for it. Additional rare birds seen were Harlequin Duck, Black Vulture, and Brant, all of which were lifers for me.

So Black Vulture would be a lifer for me, too. Heck, I saw a Turkey Vulture a few days ago and it made it on the rare bird alert because we lose them in the winter.
