Clip
Western Kingbird in NE Florida. They do happen here but this is only the 2nd one I've seen in NE Florida in 3 1/2 years. And there were two!
Connor Cochrane
Technically not flagged (but probably should be), a very early Warbling Vireo. https://macaulaylibrary.org/asset/424908841

Aidan B
County bird 253! Yellow-bellied Sapsucker!!! There hasn't been a chaseable YBSA (or at least one that cooperated once birders tried to refind it) since around 1994 in the county.

The one here in Orange was found in December, for one day. Fifteen people or so saw it, then it wasn’t refound at the same location until January. A few people saw it that day, then it was refound three weeks ago. It has now been coming one day every week or so. I’ve tried fourteen times, and finally saw it last week.

Sapsuckers often have pretty regular feeding patterns. See what time the birds are being reported at that tree then go there at its time. Their wintering territories also aren't usually too large, so try to find all the trees with holes and it'll likely be at one of them.

It’s just that the location had a ton of trees with holes and it liked pretty much all of them….

Kevin
Rare in the first place, but this is the latest record on eBird for Palo Pinto county ever for a Brown Creeper.
neilpa
Red-flanked Bluetail!!! My first code 4 bird. Spent 2+ hours staking out a neighborhood with _a lot_ of other local birders to only get very brief looks. And of course all my photos were back of the head shots, but I'll take it. chipperatl
This would be the earliest record of Solitary Sandpiper in Michigan, after our county recorded the first March record last year. Almost couldn't believe it. I thought it was a really early Spotted Sandpiper when I put binoculars only on it. It was doing some bobbing up and down.
